This GIZ-funded AMDC communications workshop will provide practical guidance to supporters of the CMV process at both the regional and in-country levels, as well as examples of communication materials that can be used at both levels during the execution of the CMV communication strategy.
Following the draft Mining Bill's approval by stakeholders, amendments will be incorporated and forwarded on for submission to the parliament.
This Expert Group Meeting (EGM) has been convened to review mining policies and legislation from the East African Community so that they best align with the AMV.
The objective of this meeting is to create and facilitate Government buy-in as co-host of the Continental Symposium. The tertiary objective is for key stakeholders to agree on a program of work and assignment of roles, including a marketing strategy for the Symposium. During this symposium planning meeting, participants will also attend the Chambers of Mines of Namibia Mining Expo and Conference.
