Third Annual Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA – III)

The African Climate Policy Centre (ACPC) will organise the Third Annual Conference on Climate Change and Development in Africa (CCDA-III) at the UNECA Conference Centre in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia from 21 – 23 October, 2013. The Conference is organized each year under the auspices of the Climate for Development in Africa (ClimDev-Africa) Programme. ClimDev-Africa is a joint programme of key African development institutions including the United Nations Economic Commission (UNECA), the African Union Commission (AUC) and African Development Bank (AfDB).

Third International Conference of Small Island Developing States

The Third International Conference on Small Island Developing States will be held from 1 to 4 September 2014 in Apia, Samoa, to be preceded by activities related to the conference from 28 to 30 August 2014, also in Apia, Samoa. It will focus the world’s attention on a group of countries that remain a special case for sustainable development in view of their unique and particular vulnerabilities. ECA to highlight plight of six Africa countries at Small Island climate conference
