African Statistics Day 2017

Every year, on 18 November, the African statistical community celebrates the African Statistics Day (ASD) with the objective of continuously raising awareness about the importance and use of statistics to support evidence-based decisions to support economic and social development in Africa. We are therefore pleased to inform you that the theme for 2017 African Statistics Day is: “Better Lives with Better Economic Statistics.” This theme was chosen in order to raise the awareness among decision makers, technical and financial partners, data producers, researchers, and the general public.
