The Office for North Africa in collaboration with the Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia (ESCWA), will organize in Tunis (Tunisia) on 21 and 22 April 2015, a workshop on the contribution of remittances migrants to economic development.
The purpose of the meeting is to brainstorm and exchange experiences and best practices on optimal use of remittances from migrants to finance the economic and social development.
This workshop will also be utilized to present the results of a study on the situation and the contribution of remittances from migrants to the economic development of Tunisia.
Experts chosen on the basis of their knowledge and experience on the subject will be invited to this workshop.
