Compendium of Intra-African and Related Foreign Trade Statistics 2013

This is the seventh edition of the Compendium of Intra-African and Related Foreign Trade Statistics. The Compendium was produced by the Economic Commission for Africa (ECA) from 1997 to 2005 on biennial basis and was discontinued since then. The African Centre for Statistics (ACS) of ECA has restarted producing the Compendium in 2011 and this is the 2013 edition. It is our hope that this publication will meet the needs of users at the international, regional, subregional and national levels, in particular the planning data for the African economies. The unique feature of this publication is the inclusion of trade data by regional economic communities (RECs) in Africa that are recognized by the African Union Commission (AUC) and other selected groupings of Africa.
