There is a narrative that has been pervasive about Africa. One that is centered around corruption. As much as that storyline gets a lot of attention, there is a majority of Africans in public and service sectors that are fair, honest and upfront in their interactions with customers and citizens. These people deliver excellent service. But, their stories are not adequately captured, and most of them and the entities they represent are not as celebrated. ECA believes they should be, as they are critical in making Africa work, turning the wheels necessary for Africa’s progress. The corruption narrative has overwhelmed the great work and service these people perform with a smile, our resilient and unsung heroes.

The project: In partnership with the Zain Verjee Group and IC Publications, ECA will have a snapshot of the state of services in Africa - what is working and where it is working. Through the eyes of Africa’s youth, we will celebrate those who have chosen to be above and beyond the temptation to be corrupt.

Join the movement. Tell stories of good service and capture another narrative reality of Africa.

AFRICA AT WORK. GET SERVED, FAIR AND SQUARE. YOU DESERVE GOOD SERVICE, AT YOUR SERVICE.
