Retreat of the Coordinators of the RCM-Africa Clusters and sub-Clusters

A retreat of the coordinators of the RCM-Africa Clusters and sub-Cluster will take place in Debre Zeit, Ethiopia on the 13th and 14th of November 2014.  The retreat is being held based on the recommendations of the15th Session of the RCM–Africa, which was held in Abuja, Nigeria in March this year.  The main objectives of the retreat are to have critical reflection on the strategy and direction of the overall framework of engagement between the African Union and the United   Nations in the context of RCM Africa, agree on the priorities based on the AU strategy documents and make inputs into the work of the Technical Working Group

The retreat will be attended by the Deputy Chairperson AUC, the Deputy Executive Secretary ECA, Senior Officers of the AU and UN, cluster/sub-cluster Coordinators from the UN agencies/organizations, and AU organs such as the AUC, the NPCA, the RECs (through their liaison offices in Addis Ababa);  and members RCM-Africa Joint Secretariat.
