Les leaders africains se retrouveront pendant une semaine à Addis-Abeba (Ethiopie) pour une conférence qui a pour thème principal l'Agenda 2063.

Il s’agit de réfléchir sur la vision de l’Union africaine (UA), sa mise en place et le plan d’action pour sa réalisation. Les thématiques comprendront notamment le financement de son application, afin de parvenir à une position ministérielle commune en vue de la Conférence sur le Financement du développement prévue en juillet 2015 à Addis-Abeba, au lendemain du consensus de Monterrey.

Le secrétaire exécutif de la Commission économique pour l’Afrique (CEA), Carlos Lopez, a déploré, lundi à Addis-Abeba, la manière dont s’effectue la politique commerciale, soulignant que cela explique pourquoi le continent ne peut donner ‘’le meilleur lui-même’’.
