Addis Ababa, 25 March 2015 (ECA) - The annual Adebayo Adedeji Lecture Series will host Donald Kaberuka, President of Africa Development Bank at its inaugural lecture on 30 March 2015 during the 2015 Conference of Ministers taking place in Addis Ababa from 25-31 March.
ECA launched the Adebayo Adedeji lecture series in March last year to honour and recognize the intellectual contribution to development, service to Africa and humanity of Professor Adebyo Adedji ECA Executive Secretary from 1975-1978 and UN Under-Secretary General from 1978-1991.
Kaberuka will discuss his legacy and contribution to development through his mandate as President of the Africa Development Bank. He took the helms of the Bank in 2005 as its 7th President. Kaberuka ends his term later this year.
The lecture will take place in the UNCC delegates Lounge during a luncheon from 1-2:30pm.
