Addis Ababa, 26 March 2015 (ECA) - The Economic Commission for Africa, the African Union Commission and the African Development Bank are hosting a High-level Conference on the Data Revolution. As part of this conference, a regional agenda-setting workshop on ‘Rebooting Open Data in Africa’ will bring together policymakers, innovators and industry leaders and technical experts in this field. The thematic conference features prepared reports, keynote addresses from thought leaders on data issues and short statements from the high-level panellists. A report on the outcomes will be presented during the ministerial segment of the Conference of Ministers, for endorsement and adoption.
