The African Centre for Gender of the ECA is convening an Experts’ Meeting to review the draft Regional Report of the African Gender and Development (AGDI).  The draft report consists of six main chapters, namely: Commitment to women’s rights; Commitment to combat gender-based violence; Commitment to education for all; Commitment to quality health care; Access to economic opportunities and resources; and Women’s agency and decision-making. The meeting will bring together representatives from countries that participated in Phases 3 and 4 of the AGDI, as well as experts in the areas covered by the AGDI.
