Donors

The WISER programme is managed jointly by Department for International Development (DFID) Africa Regional Division (ARD) and the Research and Evidence Division (RED). The WISER programme provides funding for a pan-African component through the African Climate Policy Centre (ACPC) to lead work with the World Meteorlogical Organisation (WMO) and the African Ministerial Cooperation on Meteorology (AMCOMET) to strengthen the enabling environment, including donor coordination, protocols for sharing data, running the Climate Research for Development (CR4D) initiative and fellowship programme.
