Voluntary national reviews

Voluntary national reviews (VNRs) facilitate the sharing of experiences, successes, challenges and lessons learned; promote the strengthening of policies and institutional frameworks; and help in marshalling multi-stakeholder support and partnerships to accelerate the implementation of the SDGs. In line with the primacy of member States in implementing the SDGs, annual VNRs are vital and integral tools that inform the work of the HLPF during its sessions under the auspices of ECOSOC.
