The Intergovernmental Committee of Senior Officials and Experts is an annual statutory meeting in which country representatives assess the achievements of the ECA Office for North Africa, validate its programme of work and issue recommendations in preparation for ECA continental and statutory meetings.

ICSOE discussions will include this year a special session on the impact of trade facilitation and regional integration on employment in North Africa. In addition, the Office will hold an Expert Group Meeting on 25-26 November 2019 under the theme: “Trade Facilitation in North Africa for Enhanced Regional Economic Integration: Challenges, Opportunities and the Way Forward”.
