The ECA’s Macroeconomic Policy Division (MPD) is organizing an AEGM on Wednesday February 25^th 2015 to review the draft framework study on corruption in public procurement: the case of infrastructure in Africa. To this end experts have been invited to review the framework study.

The topics that will be discussed at the Meeting include: impact of corruption in public procurement in Africa; and public procurement reforms for the infrastructure sector.

The outcomes of this AEGM will contribute in finalizing the framework study. This study is the first stage of a research project, which will be extended to include field work in selected African countries as well as the eventual sensitization of member States.
