The Land Policy Initiative (LPI) in partnership with the Government of the Republic of Rwanda will hold a validation workshop on 5^th September 2017 in support of land governance and agricultural transformation in Rwanda.

These events comprise consultations with ministers and senior leadership in the land and agricultural sectors on 4^th September and a workshop to validate the Country Report on Mainstreaming Land Governance in the Comprehensive Africa Agricultural Development Programme (CAADP) on 5^th September 2017.

These projects are part of cross country pilots being implemented by the LPI to facilitate the implementation of the AU Agenda on land and the CAADP agenda. They are being executed by the Ministry of Lands, Housing and Human Settlements Development; the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, including the CAADP secretariat. The projects are supported by the International Fund for Agricultural Development (IFAD); the European Union (EU); International Food Policy Research Institute (IFPRI) and the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ).
