Country Profiles - Quarterly Updates

In April 2016 ECA launched a series of profiles of African countries. Each quarter, updates are produced to provide more recent information and help in monitoring economic, social and political progress in the countries concerned. These updates to the country profile for 2015 covers the second quarter of 2016. The data underlying the analyses were collected in the first half of 2016. They were obtained principally from national sources, but where those were not available, use was made of international sources, in particular for recent data.

Central Africa:  Cameroon - Central African Republic - Congo - Sao Tome and Principe   

East Africa:  Kenya - Rwanda - Tanzania - Uganda  

North Africa:   Egypt [Arabic] - Morocco [Arabic]  - Sudan [Arabic]  

Southern Africa: Botswana - Lesotho -  Namibia - Zambia - Zimbabwe

West Africa: Côte-d’Ivoire - Guinea - Niger -  Senegal
