The 36th SADC Heads of States and Government Summit will take place in Mbabane, Swaziland from 30 -31 August 2016 under the chairmanship of the incoming chairperson of SADC, His Majesty King Mswati III of Swaziland. The approved general theme of the summit is "Resource Mobilization for Investment in Sustainable Energy Infrastructure for an Inclusive SADC Industrialization for the Prosperity". Highlight: The Executive Secretary will deliver a keynote presentation focusing on “Resource mobilization for the implementation of the SADC Industrialization Strategy and Roadmap: Options, Opportunities and Challenges” which will inform policy recommendations as part of the draft Summit Communique.
